I saw this illustration done by Minho Kwon at the V&A in the student category of the 'V&A Illustrator Awards 2013'. I found it incredibly inspiring and loved his submersion of the facial structure with what appears to be old fashioned machinery. His use of lines and consistent precision (which was the case with all his pieces) really appealed to me as my preferred drawing technique is one of a neat and clean disposition. I would love to experiment in a similar way and see how I could put my own touch on it.
