Taste for image

The 10 objects we were asked to bring in on the first day were the starting point of our first projects. The jagged line you see at the top of the unfinished drawing was the out come of a tasting and drawing combination. I placed a section of a dress I wore when I was a little girl into my mouth and drew what I felt. The wispy lines lightly drawing over the thicker black squiggle represented the blind smell of the comforting washing detergent that was wafting from the fabric. this is also shown through the coloured petals and patterns amongst the drawing. It was interested to create an image without relying on sight.
