Memory Palace
Sky Arts Ignition

The exhibition is a visual story written by Hari Kunzru, as you emerse your self into the narrative you get to see the other illustrators, graphic designer and typographers visual instillations that co inside with the story. It's a really interesting idea playing with the idea of memory or more appropriately lack there of. What I gathered from the exhibit was  that we were witnessing a time in the future when the world has lost the functon of memory and now live their lives in a chinese whispers way. Having heard vague stories and hear say of what the world used to be like they have taken bits in an attempt to recreate what it was like before.

They knew that recycling was once something put in place but this had changed pretty drastically into men and women walking the street and chanting 'I am not a plastic bag'.  I feel this is relevant to us in a greater sense. As we all are trying to play by the rules and imitate what we believe to be the right way of living life. Well actually some of us are. And this has continued because most of the time essentially we're all built the same and fundamentally think the same.
