3DD
On last day of 3DD we were divided into groups and given a bunch of bamboo sticks and tape in order to create a bridge that could support a large remote control car. The bridge had to go from one table to another table approximately 3 metres in distance. At first I and my other group members stood around a little pretty confused in how to achieve our objective. Our initial confusion resulted in a pretty organic approach to the task, building and creating as we went. We didn't want a flat road for the car, so we deliberately built a wonky path so once the cardboard road was put in place part of it would be sloping.
I found this task the most interesting of all the task assigned during the 3DD week. It gave us the freedom to build and design a structure that could support the remote control car through innovative design. Much of the work set was problem solving, trying to internally map out a structure or form of an object, followed by practically building said object. I found the whole process much harder than I had anticipated. But essentially having to push myself and think in ways I originally wouldn't was fun and gave me a sense of freedom within 3DD.
