GRAPHICS

In the introduction to graphics we focussed on the face and used experimental techniques to map out and draw fellow students faces. This included drawing blindly, not removing the pen from the paper, using our left hand (or which ever hand we don't usually use) and using our teeth as our drawing tool. This not only made for interesting drawing results but allowed us to detach from stereotypical drawing methods and have a freedom to explore new ideas and techniques we may usually shun.

This was continued by illustrating someones ear with which ever drawing utensil we desired. I felt it was important to produce tone and depth to give the drawing a realistic look, this is probably why I chose to use pencil and often use pencil within my personal work.
